Christ has already provided everything we need for salvation through his spiritual provisions. He gave us a new circumcision, enabling us to live according to the Spirit rather than the flesh (Colossians 2:11-12). He also gave us victory over sin, empowering us to live a life pleasing to God (Colossians 2:15).

Therefore, we must not fall prey to false teachers who would have us add to Christ's provisions. Paul warns us of three things we must avoid: the worship of angels, the celebration of special days and seasons, and the observance of Jewish rituals.

These external practices are often used by false religions and cults to attract followers. However, true salvation is not found in what we do but in what Christ has already done for us through his death and resurrection. As Paul wrote in Romans 3:20, 'Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.'

In conclusion, let us fix our eyes on Jesus Christ and the spiritual provisions he has given us, rather than seeking salvation through human efforts.
